Lichtlaerm brought a new light into the world of guitar tone with this LCFR-150 speaker. We asked Daniel from Lichtlaerm what his intentions were and he stated he wanted the “anti V30” and one can agree he delivered!
To give you the true potential of this speaker we decided to go the extra mile and captured it in two very different cabs. On the one hand you get the flavour of a Mesa Oversized 412 cab as the state of the art standard. Furthermore we loaded the LCFR into a LaRoqua Deluxe 412 which is even bigger and deeper and therefore has a very different and unique voicing. Using 14 different microphones, 13 positions and 5 distances per microphone together with a Fredman Technique setting in 2 positions this resulted in 1832 individal impulse responses to choose from.
